Local processing
Documents remain on the local system. The workflow is designed for local processing without cloud services.
Product · Offline redaction
Redaction without cloud uploads.
Local redaction, review and export control for PDF and scan documents. Built for sensitive working environments where documents do not belong on external platforms.
Why Tox?
With sensitive documents, merely hiding content visually is not enough. What matters is a controlled process: mark, review, export and document.
Tox focuses on exactly that. No platform. No user account. No uploads. A small set of tools for one clearly defined task.
Screenshots
These areas are reserved for future screenshots: the working view, export review and audit summary.
Open documents, mark areas and move between pages.
Final review before creating the output file.
Document the export process clearly.
Core features
Documents remain on the local system. The workflow is designed for local processing without cloud services.
Rectangle, Quick Lasso and brush tools provide targeted redaction for PDF and scan documents.
File, destination, pages and redactions are summarised again before the final export.
A technical summary can document what was processed after export.
Licences, teams and public authorities
Tox is licensed once and operated locally. The licence remains permanently usable. Updates and basic support are included for twelve months. Software maintenance can then be renewed voluntarily.
Trial version
Open a document, apply redactions, complete the review and verify the export. The trial is intended to reflect the actual workflow rather than merely opening attractively.

The existing major version remains usable without renewal. Active maintenance includes new versions, bug fixes and prioritised technical information.
Use cases
Tox is intended for working environments where sensitive content must be processed locally and exported through a controlled, traceable workflow.
Roadmap
Tox is not intended to become a universal PDF toolbox. The focus remains secure redaction, review and export. Apparently software is still allowed to do one job properly.
Important clarification
Tox supports the technical redaction and export process. Deciding which information must be redacted remains the responsibility of the relevant professional or legal authority.
